How to use

1. Prep your nails
Gently push back the cuticles and remove any excess skin from the nail plate. Lightly buff the nail surface using the 240-grit side of the buffer. Then cleanse thoroughly with the GelCare Prep & Finish Cleanser.

2. Apply Primer
Apply a small amount of GelCare Primer around the outer edge of the natural nail, avoiding contact with the skin. Allow to air-dry for a few seconds. The Primer helps improve the adhesion and longevity of your GelCare manicure.

3. Apply colour
Apply a very thin layer of GelCare LED Polish and cap the free edge of the nail. Remove any polish from the skin and cuticles, then cure under the LED lamp for 60 seconds. Apply a second thin layer and cure again for 60 seconds. For extra depth and intensity, add an optional third coat.

4. Seal with Top Coat
Apply a thin layer of GelCare Top Coat and cap the free edge. Cure under the LED lamp for 60 seconds for a long-lasting, high-gloss finish.

5. Cleanse the finish
After curing, a slightly tacky layer will remain – this is completely normal. Soak a cotton pad with the GelCare Prep & Finish Cleanser and gently wipe over each nail to reveal the full shine.

What is the difference between traditional gel nail polish and GelCare?

GelCare combines long-lasting gel performance with care: 15+ days of wear and a high-gloss finish when used as a complete system, together with the S.R.²® Colour Care Complex featuring vegan keratin, hyaluronic acid and biotin in every colour layer. Application also requires no heavy buffing, and removal is acetone-free.

How long does a GelCare manicure last?

With complete use of the GelCare System, the manicure lasts 15+ days.

Ich reagiere allergisch auf konventionelle UV Gel-Nagellacke - kann ich GelCare verwenden?

GelCare ist ohne HEMA formuliert – ein Methacrylat-Monomer, das für sein sensibilisierendes Potenzial bekannt ist. Das bedeutet jedoch nicht, dass allergische Reaktionen ausgeschlossen werden können. Bei einer bekannten Allergie auf Gel-Nagellacke oder deren Inhaltsstoffe empfehlen wir, vor der Anwendung ärztlichen Rat einzuholen.

Kann ich eine bereits vorhandene UV-Lampe verwenden?

Für GelCare wird eine LED-Lampe mit mindestens 36 W benötigt; für zuverlässiges Aushärten werden 48 W empfohlen. Jede Farbschicht und der Top Coat werden jeweils 60 Sekunden ausgehärtet. Bei einer herkömmlichen UV-Lampe können wir die optimale Aushärtung nicht garantieren.
