FAQ

Is the plantPRO formula TPO-free?

We have always created nail products without controversial ingredients. Our plantPRO system has been free from TPO and other disputed molecules since its launch in 2024. The TPO ban, which came into effect in September, confirms that our commitment to the safety of your health and the environment is not a reaction, but part of who we are.

Are there any UV filters in the formula?

The product does not contain any UV filters. To protect against external environmental factors such as UV light, the antioxidant vitamin E has been added.

I am allergic to conventional UV gel nail polishes – can I use plantPRO?

A major cause of allergic reactions to conventional UV gel nail polishes is the ingredient HEMA. Since we avoid this and other controversial ingredients in our formula, it is likely that you will tolerate plantPRO better. However, allergies are individual and complex, so they can also be triggered by another ingredient that may also be present in plantPRO.

To rule out allergies, you can perform a patch test. For the test, a small amount of the gel nail polish should be applied directly to the natural nail and left for about 24–48 hours. If skin reactions such as redness or itching occur, an allergic reaction to plantPRO may be present. After removing the nail polish, the skin irritation should normally subside. Otherwise, please consult a dermatologist.
