How to use

  1. Apply. Gently work in a very thin layer of GelCare LED Polish and cap the free edge of the nail.
  2. Clean up. Remove any polish from the skin and cuticles before curing.
  3. Cure. 60 seconds under the LED lamp. Cure your thumb separately if it isn't fully reached by the light.
  4. Let it bond. The layer will stay slightly tacky afterwards, which is normal and ensures optimal adhesion for the next coat. Finish by sealing with GelCare Top Coat.

GelCare is formulated without HEMA. This means we deliberately avoid a methacrylate monomer known for its sensitising potential.

Prepare your nails

Gently push back your cuticles and remove any excess skin from the nail plate. Lightly buff the nail surface with a 240-grit buffer. Then cleanse with the GelCare Prep & Finish Cleanser for optimal gel adhesion.

What is the difference between traditional gel nail polish and GelCare?

GelCare combines long-lasting gel performance with care: Up to 21 days of wear and a high-gloss finish when used as a complete system, together with the S.R.²® Colour Care Complex featuring vegan keratin, hyaluronic acid and biotin in every colour layer. Application also requires no heavy buffing, and removal is acetone-free.

How long does a GelCare manicure last?

With complete use of the GelCare System, the manicure lasts up to 21 days.

I'm allergic to conventional UV gel polishes. Can I use GelCare?

GelCare is formulated without HEMA, a methacrylate monomer known for its sensitising potential. However, this does not mean allergic reactions can be ruled out. If you have a known allergy to gel polishes or their ingredients, we recommend seeking medical advice before use.

Can I use a UV lamp I already have?

GelCare requires an LED lamp with at least 36 W; 48 W is recommended for reliable curing. Each colour coat and the top coat are cured for 60 seconds. With a conventional UV lamp, we cannot guarantee optimal curing.
