plantPRO Gel Nail System Application
This product is part of our plantPRO Gel Nail System. For best results and lasting wear, we recommend using the full system. If you're new to gel manicures, the plantPRO system may take a little getting used to. Longevity and removal depend heavily on your individual nail type and technique. With experience, you'll quickly develop a feel for the products, your nails, and the routine that works best for you.

Step 1: Proper Nail Prep.
Gently buff the surface, tips, corners and edges of your nails using the Prep (240) side of the PRObuffer. Be sure to use a grit of 240 or finer. If you have dry or brittle nails, we suggest buffing only the tips – or skipping the nail surface entirely – to make future removal easier. Next, lightly dampen a cellulose pad with the Prep & Finish Cleaner and wipe each nail. Avoid using too much liquid on the nail.

Step 2: Apply Base Coat.
Apply a very thin layer* of Base Coat using gentle pushing motions to work it into the nail plate. Start at the tip and ensure the entire nail is evenly coated and smooth. Don’t forget to seal the tip of the nail. Cure under the PROlamp for 60 seconds.

Tip: A base coat that is too thick or uneven can cause premature chipping and make removal more difficult.

Step 3: Apply Colour.
Apply an even layer of colour, taking extra care to seal the nail tip. Cure under the PROlamp for 60 seconds.Repeat with a second coat for better coverage, volume and lasting results.

Step 4: Apply Top Coat.
Apply one coat of Top Coat, again ensuring you seal the nail tip. Cure under the PROlamp for 90 seconds.

Step 5: Finish.
After curing the Top Coat, wait about one minute before the final step. Dampen a cellulose pad with Prep & Finish Cleaner and gently wipe each nail to remove the sticky residue.**

Important: If any product touches the skin or cuticle area during application, remove it before curing, e.g. with a manicure stick. If your plantPRO manicure was professionally applied in a salon, we recommend having it removed professionally as well. Salon applications often involve electronic tools to prepare the nail plate, which can alter adhesion and make removal more difficult.

*A base coat that is too thick or uneven can both promote early chipping and make removal more difficult.

**This sticky layer is a natural result of curing and essential for layer adhesion. It should only be removed after all coats are applied and cured. Even when fully cured, your nails may still feel slightly sticky before this step.
